Voice your Opinion and call for Drogheda to be the location of the new North East Regional Hospital
Since 7th March Drogheda Chamber of Commerce has been spearheading a campaign to secure the new North East Regional Hospital for Drogheda, the campaign has received great support from local community groups, businesses and all 12 local Councillors. We all firmly believe Drogheda is the most suitable location for the new hospital and our campaign to-date has focused on four areas - Expertise, Access, Support Services and Social Infrastructure all key factors when determining the location of a hospital.
Of late there has been much speculation surrounding the long awaited Health Partnership report and its recommendations for the location of the new North East Regional Hospital - it is important to remember that any recommended location for the new hospital has to be endorsed by the HSE and the Government before it becomes a reality, we are still weeks if not months away from a final decision.
